Rededication Ceremony
Brian Townsend, St. Charles City Administrator, gave a moving speech about the sculpture, the Potawatomi, and the Celebration.  The ceremony took place at the Ēkwabet sculpture site, along the Fox River.

Birthday Party
The Waswagoning Dance Theatre from Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin, were the featured performers at the 20th Birthday Party in Pottawatomie Park at the Pavilion.  Their performance featured beautiful costumes, traditional music and drumming, and an explanation of each dance.  Birthday Cake and Ice Cream followed.
